Tofu Scramble
Description
Tofu scramble is a tasty, healthy, vegan and easy to make alternative to
scrambles eggs. It's a great way to start your day! The recipe below is
very versitile, feel free to experiment with different textures and
ingredients to create your own version. The recipe below is enough for
3-4 portions.
Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu
- 15 baby tomatoes
- 100 g of fresh spinach
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 100 g of brown cap mushrooms
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 teaspoons of tumeric
- 2 teaspoons of black salt (kala namak)
- 1 medium sized onion
Steps

Break up the block of tofu using your hands into as fine of a scramble
consitency as you like and add to a bowl

Add the tumeric and black salt to the scrambled tofu and mix well

Chop up your spinach, mushrooms, bell pepper, tomatoes and onion into
your preferred size
- Preheat a medium to large skillet or pan on medium heat
- Add olive oil to heated pan

Fry your chopped ingredients for 5-10 minutes until they start getting
carmelized

Add your scrambled tofu and continue to fry for another 10 minutes
- Remove from heat and enjoy
